If I may ask, who are these people? The hosts or guests?

You can always ask John I just reserve the right not to answer. All right enough of the tongue in cheek. Typically John these are the "Man on the Street" polls that they do at places like Christian Book Sellers cons. Or amy other Christian conventions. These aren't the guests they are inviting on the show.

But, if I clearly taught elsewhere that repentance/belief alone was sufficient no one would think coming forward is necessary for salvation,or water baptism is necessary for salvation.

Evangelist, Your response is made without any reference to the truth, and I'm a little surprised that your infallible spirit did not tell you that. Have you heard the broadcasts that John was asking about? If you have, as I have at great length, you will know that the people Boanerges referred to when he said: from recent podcast of the White Horse Inn I've heard many different Christians make comments that would deny the efficacy of Christ's sacrifice and suggest that only by continued good works is your salvation secured. are actually the typical American evangelical church-goer, pastor and publisher. I would also not be surprised at all if some of them were faithful listeners and supporters of ... TBN. If you have not heard the broadcasts, please explain why you answered as you did.

Actually, if I may, there is a "reference of truth" to his comment. Maybe they are not listeners, but the Roman Catholics do believe this way, which is what I think he actually meant. I'm sure you can see that

So do just and righteous christians go to hell when they sin? If a person has a adicted problem with sex ,alcohol ,drug and are born again christian would they go to hell because they have not ended their addictions? Do they be called not really born again when they fall 70 time 70 even in the same sins? I think this is the answer you're looking for.The Westminster Confession of Faith of 1646,Chapter 11 Article 5 V. God doth continue to forgive the sins of those that are justified; and although they can never fall from the state of justification, yet they may by their sins fall under God's Fatherly displeasure, and not have the light of his countenance restored unto them, until they humble themselves, confess their sins, beg pardon, and renew their faith and repentance. Election does not mean infallibility;as that would place us in the pantheon with God.Being judged by our actions would imply His favor to be contingent on the Father's observation of man's behavior..which would mean..God learned??!! Keeping God's laws will not somehow bolster your standing in the Kingdom. Section 6 Chapter 7 of Calvin's Institutes reminds us that the Law was given to the Jews not as an end in itself. But to keep alive hope of salvation in Christ until His coming. Se also Romans 3:20,28 Romans 4:5

What does the bible mean when it says the letter killeth?
Also:
Ga:5:4: Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Ga:5:5: For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. Ga:5:6: For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Ga:5:7: Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? Ga:5:8: This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. Ga:5:9: A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.Ga:5:10: I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be. Ga:5:11: And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased. Ga:5:12: I would they were even cut off which trouble you. Ga:5:13: For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Ga:5:14: For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Ga:5:15: But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. Ga:5:16: This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Ga:5:17: For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Ga:5:18: But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
But, if I clearly taught elsewhere that repentance/belief alone was sufficient no one would think coming forward is necessary for salvation,or water baptism is necessary for salvation.
