Carlos,

I'm not familiar with many commentaries on Revelation but I can heartily second Pilgrim's recommendation of More Than Conquerors by William Hendriksen. It is quite good.

Theo
And to be balanced in the "right" eschatological direction you could also check out:

George Eldon Ladd's "Revelation"

and Grant Osbourne's "Exegetical Commentary on Revelation" found in the Baker series.

Robert Thomas's two massive volumes are fairly good too.

Fred
"Ah, sitting - the great leveler of men. From the mightest of pharaohs to the lowest of peasants, who doesn't enjoy a good sit?" M. Burns
Steve Gregg's REVELATION Four Views is the best I have seen if you want to understand the 4 prevailing views on the subject. It comes highly recommended by a number of reputable scholars. It is published by Thomas Nelson. Gregg himself is an a-millinium-er, but I challenge anyone to come to any conclusion of where he stands from reading the book. If you can't locate it, let me know & I will get you some info.

Gil Helvie

mordecai@oregonisonline.com
