I am seeing quite a few Reformed Christians who are life long Republican supporters actively speaking out against MAGA. They are agree with the GOP. As an example, let me give one example from someone I will call Joe. Joe said: As a Christian, I don’t agree with the concept of sex change or even gay-lesbian relationships because God made male and female. God did NOT make mistakes at creating male and female.
Only born males compete with born males.
Only born females compete with born females.
Moralistic laws cannot change the heart.
Christians know the evil of the human heart (Jeremiah 17:9) called “sin”.
As for WOKE. Webster’s Dictionary defines it as “someone who is alert to injustice in society, especially racism.” Another said Woke is a fairly modern term that has come to mean “conscious of injustice in society.”
It may see that selfishness of the FLESH is a cause of injustice, but it has no way to remove selfishness.
It may see that hatred causes misery and pain and destruction, but it has no cure for hatred.
The ultimate test of America’s moral society is when politicians and people view humanitarian in a negative way when we see intentional program cuts for the vulnerable citizens and the world.
MAGA’s ideological perspective reveals complete ignorance or indifference to how to fight in global health, conflicts, disasters and beyond is to Americans and humanity around the world.
United States which once prides itself on its humanitarianism but not anymore because MAGA promotes the opposite.
The 5th Beatitude states, “Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy” (Mt. 5:7).
This verse is scary because we recognize how inconsistently we show mercy to others.
INSTEAD of mercy we are seeing cruelty without empathy.
We are seeing many mocking people with disabilities because they hated DEI that friends and relatives of people with disabilities are very quiet about it.
Speaking of DEI.
Recently,, conservative news hosts like FOX and MAGA influencers are currently mocking a witness who testified at Wednesday’s DOGE subcommittee hearing simply because he is blind.
His name is Dylan Hedtler-Gaudette.
Dylan Hedtler-Gaudette is one of the best watchdogs in the nonprofit world.
At Wednesday’s (Feb 12, 2025) DOGE subcommittee hearing, MAGA supporters to point and laugh at Hedtler-Gaudette for his visual impairment while claiming it was the reason he was supposedly saying he hadn’t found extensive government fraud.
This is offensive to many people with disabilities who are qualified to do the job. Much of DEI exists after hiring, it’s about understanding during employment all candidates still have to be equally qualified for the position to be hired.
People seem to forget America’s disabilities history. ]

1. What's this got to do with Donald Trump? If Trump wasn't existent, MAGA would still exist. Remember, 77+ million people voted for MAGA's agenda and not necessarily Donald J. Trump. 2. He likes the GOP but it is the establishment GOP that is part of the problems and who are in league with the establishment Democrats and their godless agenda. 3. I seriously doubt the veracity of anyone on the DOGE Committee ridiculed a blind individual with malice in their hearts. Perhaps "Joe" has misunderstood whatever happened?  4. "Joe" appears to be sympathetic to the "Woke" movement according to the self-applied definition... "conscious of injustice in society.”, which in reality is a total lie. WOKE celebrates the depravity of man and hates God and all that is true and good. 5. Find fellowship with like believers and be wise as a serpent so as to avoid those who are being drawn into error in this evil world. I don't know the identity of this person or where you are finding this blather but I had a Facebook "friend" who sounds just like what you are talking about. This woman has about 3,500+/- followers and runs a blog. She is rabidly anti-Trump and she professes to be a Christian. Of that, I cannot speak but what I have seen of her behavior and speech, publicly, as she has slandered people and has not to my knowledge repented, I am not convinced of her profession. She refuses correction and leads her followers to hate Trump. I have unfriended her to avoid seeing her disgusting blather. That is an option that you have too Tom. Unfriend or block people like this. Why continue in their "fellowship" and by your friendship with them, encourage others to remain in fellowship as well.
Scripture tells us to pray for those in leadership and reasons for why and how we should pray.

My point of for starting this thread, is to show a trend I find concerning.
In fact, they are disrespecting other believers for supporting Trump.
Some even to the point of saying that we would not even know about Woke and CRT, if Trump was not in power.
After trying to reason with them and having most of what I said thrown back in my face. I now see it as a fruitless endeavour.
Other than to pray for them.

That's laughable  What have conservatives been screaming about for the last 4 years...WOKE, CRT, DEI, dismembering of children's genitals, blocking parents from knowing what their children are being taught, the murder of 100s of thousands of the unborn, etc., etc., ad nauseam. Have those people been living in a cave somewhere in Brazil? :rolleyes1: Personally, I do not bother with such people because they do not have the mental capacity to comprehend even basic truths, never mind reality. Most spew forth "word salad" idiocy, ala: Kamala Harris.

You have a number of tools at your dispense: Unfriend; Block; walk away; have NOTHING to do with these people. Ha, you might discover your blood pressure returning to normal. Tom, they have their minds made up. They prefer to believe what they do and will not consider your vantage point. Walk away from them. Mark them and then avoid them.

As I said, before I am no longer actively participating in that thread with what I now call woke Reformed Baptists. Which I am reluctant to call them, but they called themselves Reformed Baptists. Which is also what I am. However, I was curious to find out if the conversation was still going on. It still is, and someone from England joined the conversation. I thought what he said was good. “ mate what! “ We only believe these things because of Trump. Ohh I'm sorry I’ll go tell all the terriost attack victicms we have that it wasn't because of our lax borders in the UK, Ireland and the rest of Europe? (except Poland Wonder why that is). Wokenes as summed up in their actions of dei which has ruined everything from computer games to movies. CRT has had people in the UK in jail because they made bad memes against our government while they realised hardened criminals because they were over crowded. Crt/dei which covered up the massive sex gangs in the UK and has led to the rape of thousands of little girls all for the sake of 'diversity' (true reason from a member of Parliament) and not looking racist (real reason the police gave for not prosecuting). I don't think you all realise that influence that amaerica has on the western world. You funded 8% of our BBC, funded a pile of dei crap even in the UK and Ireland. I hope we get someone like trump that will go through and audit our government. So no it not because of Trump. It is because we have lived under the effects of the aggressive ideological and spiritual attack that dei actual is.” The response he got back, was laughter by the person. I should have stopped participated way earlier.
