It is always edifying to hear the testimonies of Christian Brothers.
Elect Said:
I cannot deny a Twinkie and yet [they say] it is within me to deny the Lord?
Well put <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/ClapHands.gif" alt="" />, although I've never heard it said quite that way before. More commonly the Arminians say: "It is within me to choose the Lord" as if they had "decided" to come into this judged world in the first place!
"Because thy rage against me and thy tumult has come into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook into thy nose, and my bridle into thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest." (2Ki 19:28)
"Therefore behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might, and they shall know that my name is The Lord." (Jer 16:21)
"And I will put my Spirit within you, and
cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments and do them." (Eze 36:27)
We do indeed have an eternal reason to be thankful!
