On the news tonight, it was reported that Pat Robertson who was said to be the leader of the "Christian Right" and a good friend of President George Bush, publicly called for the assassination of the Venezuelan President. Donald Rumsfeld distanced himself from Robertson by saying that he was not a spokesman for the White House but simply a citizen, which as a group often make statements that do not represent policy nor the sentiments of the administration.
It looks like this is but one more stupid remark that will cause people to disdain those who profess to be Christians and further the belief that we are nothing more than a bunch of radical extremists. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/rolleyes2.gif" alt="" />
