If the Lord God, before whom each individual will shortly stand, is a holy God, a God of truth, and without iniquity, and of purer eyes than to behold sin with impunity; we may well ask, “Who is able to stand before Him? — who can abide the day of His coming, or stand when He appears?”


It may be "April Fools Day" today but the subject of this month's Article of the Month is no joking matter. Augustus Toplady writes about one of the most sobering subjects anyone could possibly deal with; standing before God on the last day and having to give an account for oneself. Although most of mankind denies the existence of the biblical God, never mind having to stand before Him, the fact is everyone is going to to have to appear before Him and be judged according to His perfect law.

The question is, of course, what will happen to YOU when you stand before the LORD of glory? What will YOU say when asked about your life? These questions and more are discussed in this month's Article of the Month.
