I wouldn't say that Trump surrounded himself with Gallup or such individuals. They are just individuals who happen to want Trump vs. Hillary to win and support him. The people who Trump will surround himself with are those who he chooses to be part of his cabinet, etc., should he win.

I agree with you, however I know people who are watching this aspect and for good or bad Gallups' praying has given them another reason to support Trump.
If I may use an analogy, from something I am presently dealing with some Christian friends of mine with.
My friend has decided to take some more courses from Alpha. Out of concern for my friend and his wife, I told him my concerns; using a few articles about Nicky Gumbel who is responsible for Alpha.
Rather than read the material I sent him (which I am hoping and praying he will reconsider), he told me that he took Alpha years ago and found it inspiring and it produces a lot of fruit in people’s lives. I doubt at this point he even cares about Nicky Gumbel.

This thread is not about Alpha, but the reason I bring this up, is people look at what they perceive as good fruit, rather than look directly at the beliefs and practices of who says them.
In this case, the fact Trump had a minister pray, impressed many people. How many of these people know or even care about what Gallups' believes?
