Stay out of the big BLUE cities and you will be fine. Florida and most of the South is fine. Financially the country is fine and on the road to recovery. What else might you be hesitant about?  Oh yeh, the Canadian dollar is rather poor vs the US dollar so things would definitely be more expensive, although the prices for things in Canada are very high for the most part vs. the same objects in the U.S. Re: name calling... looks like you are believing and speaking the right things to be honored with the woke slurs hurled at you.
