1. The overwhelming majority of "lame street media" here in the US is far leftist owned and is the epitome of "very fake news". Anyone who listens/watches it thinking they are going to be "informed" of factual news is sadly mistaken or is of the same ilk. 2. Trump has NEVER truly suggested that Canada become annexed to the US or become the 51st state. He called Trudeau the "governor of Canada" because he was suggesting that he was no longer going to be Prime Minister of Canada. Anyone with half a brain knows that Trump loves to goad individuals who are antagonists of conservative values and politics or who are running in opposition to him in an election. I have too often lamented of most of this tactic, although admittedly, there are times it is hilarious to hear him refer to someone with a choice nickname, e.g., "Crooked Hiliary", etc. Perhaps because the nickname is undeniably a true description of the person's character. 3. Re: Tariffs on Canada. That is basically old news. Again, Trump who wasn't the originator of enacting tariffs on foreign trade partners, has effectively used them as bargaining chips... and they WORK. What also cannot be denied is the incessant unfair policy of foreign nations imposing unfair tariffs on American imported goods. Some countries have 100% and even 200% tariffs on American imports while the US had 5%, 10% or even no tariffs on those same countries. On a personal note and reflection, I vividly remember when I lived in Langley, B.C., doing grocery shopping across the border in Blaine, WA because of the incredible price differences on many goods. For example, at that time (25-30 yrs ago), butter in Canada was $5.00/lb and in Blaine it was $0.89/lb. When it came to buy a turkey, the Canadian "Turkey Board" which regulated prices on fowl made it near impossible to afford buying a turkey. That is SOCIALISM at its finest. My motorcycle insurance in Michigan was $365/yr for full coverage for 12 months. The liability insurance alone in Canada was $1400 for 9 months. A Labatts 24 can case of beer was $13.89 at the local drugstore in Pontiac, MI. In B.C. Canada, the same Canadian made beer was $18 for 6 16 oz. bottles. Okay, got the point? Socialism/Communism is not what we want here in America and for at least the next 4 years, we are going to retain most of our freedoms which our Constitution guarantees and God has given to mankind. Reciprocal tariffs are FAIR TRADE and Trump has even said that he would remove all tariffs for any country that did likewise for the US. He believes in Free and FAIR Trade. Don't believe the lies. TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) is prolific among the Leftists. They are deluded and/or deliberate enemies of a free democratic republic; America. I for one really hope and pray that you in Canada vote for a conservative Prime Minister over all other candidates. Here in New Hampshire, we live by our motto: "LIVE FREE or DIE".
