The Highway Forums General Discussion Open Forum DEI and President Trump

I'm going to make this EXTREMELY brief, at the risk of being too simplistic and thus allowing error in some people's minds/thinking.

DEI which contemporarily is WOKE, i.e., everyone for every reason is to be preferred on the basis of their skin color, nationality, gender, economic class, sexual identity/preference, ad nauseam. President Trump and nearly all reject DEI and hold firmly to the age-old premise that everyone is accepted or rejected for a position based upon MERIT; is this person qualified for the position they are seeking. Our society has used this fair and moral standard since its inception. Ability and attitude trumps (no pun intended) everything else, especially those 'disqualities' promoted by DEI.
