It might be “just business”, but I found it odd that Trump said he does not like Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre and much preferred Carney.Tom
Trump's 'dislike' of Pierre Poilievre is something that perhaps you and others are not privy to, eh?

But, we can surmise from Trump's dealing with individuals on an international level, dealing with Poilievre perhaps would not be beneficial to the US. Others have not spoken positive of Poilievre to which I have already provided to you before. "Conservative" is a relative term which was greatly impressed upon me when I lived for 15 years in B.C., Canada.

It became obvious to me that the "Conservatives" in Canada are somewhat equivalent to the moderate Democrat Party here in the US. Their policies are undeniably Socialist and not representative of a democratic Republic, i.e., a free society. So, maybe doing an online search for "Why does Trump not support Poilievre?"
might result in some answers, albeit one must take into consideration the source of any answer(s).

Again, let me stress that the true conservatives here in the US do NOT want a merger with Canada. We are fighting to keep our Constitutional Republic alive against the inroads of the socialist/communist Left faction that is growing in numbers. Yes, Trump won a landslide election in regard to the Electoral vote, but only by 1-1 1/2 percent in regard to the popular vote. Whether that will change for the better in the future only God knows. But it is ever present threat which must be opposed without reserve. The US is unique among all the nations of the world. Merging with Canada in an official capacity, e.g, 51st state would immediately destroy what we presently enjoy now. IF you want more freedom and liberty, come here and support and fight for it. Otherwise, stay in the great white North and fight for whatever battles you can.
