Most of these are on the internet and thus you may research them and save them as links. Most sell at least some Reformed resources at a fairly good price (some better than others ).

What are the SEVEN (7) top Bookstores you purchase your books from?

OOOooops. I made a mistake on my survey.

For some reason I read Sovereign Grace Publishers as Soli Deo Gloria Publishers. (I guess I was looking for that one). So subtract one from that column, Joe.

Also, one publisher I order from fairly often is Banner of Truth. And I almost never order directly from Amazon; I look for used books offered on Amazon.

Well I did not include every bookstore to be sure (I thought 21 would be enough, but of course people can always add a link below), but Banner of Truth and Soli Deo Gloria are also both publishers and thus were not included because most of these other bookstores sell them. Banner of Truth books are very inexpensive normally at CVBBS, CBD & WTS bookstore (normally less than BT itself. At WTS you get $5 shipping no matter if you are ordering 1000 books, or a few less increasing your savings even further). Many of the Soli Deo Gloria books come to me free and thus I am not sure where to find them for less lately, but CVBBS rings a bell here.

I must admit I rarely shop at Amazon myself, but some of the hard to find things I sometimes find there. I especially find Amazon.uk helpful as they handle some items from the Church of England (I recently purchased an older version of their Book of Common Prayer from them). I suspect many who live outside of the US may purchase from them.

CHECK "My Local/Internet Independent Retailer." Since you work for Grace to You that is local as it gets I did not name ALL the stores, thus I have some catch all categories.

You wouldn't happen to have any lying around that you want to get rid of, would you?

The only thing I have in that category (books laying around--duplicates) at this time are 3 P&R titles:

Resurrection and Redemption, by Richard Gaffin--GONE

Worship in Spirit and Truth, by John Frame--GONE

The Five Points of Calvinism, by David Steele, Curtis Thomas, and S. Lance Quinn

These are new books. I have ONLY one (1) of each title. In lieu of giving them to individuals at the seminary, I will make them available to the next three (3) posters who desire them. One book per poster please. First come, first serve. Please post what book you desire (directly under this post) and then I will send you a PM later requesting your complete mailing address. Please do not post your address on-line here as you maybe added to someone's junk mail list. If you desire to pay shipping please make a donation (after you receive the book) to The Highway instead.

I'd like the Frame if it is still available!

I hope you also are going to include a "barf bag" when you ship the book!

Would that be paper or plastic?

Frame's two books on worship are probably the best written from what is IMHO a moderate position on worship.

The Worship Wars have caused me to delve into this topic more deeply and I'm killing a bunch of trees (i.e. books) in the process. It pays to be well read in this area. Here are a few other books some may consider reading (these are not being given away):

Immanuel in Our Place, by Tremper Longman--forward by Sinclair Ferguson.

Liturgies of the Western Church, by Bard Thompson.

For All God's Worth, by N.T. Wright (yes, its worth reading).

Introduction to Christian Worship, by James White.

With Reverence and Awe, by D.G. Hart and John Muether (a must read).

Give Praise to God, edited by Philip Ryken--forward by RC Sproul.

The Sacrifice of Praise, by Dr. H. Bavinck--mine is a 1922 copy and is hard to find, but well worth reading. (thin blue Kregal HB, app 115 pages).

Exploring the Worship Spectrum--6 views, general editor Paul Basden

Covenantal Worship, Reconsidering the Puritan Regulative Worship, by R.J. Gore.

Documents of Christian Worship, by James White.

Worship, Reformed According to Scripture, by Hughes Oliphant Old (a must read).

A Better Way, by Michael Horton.
