I am going to reply to this about Tom's thoughts on the Jews on the day of the attack on the World Trade Center.<br><br>I am sickened to here such things. I lived with a "professing Christian" who for 18 years was obessed with the fact that there was a Jewish conspiracy against the American government. He even went so far as to tell me one day, while handing me a gift.............one of the few he ever gave me.............a Nazi's mother's cross. Telling me he believed Hitler was a Christian. He was VERY well versed in the Doctrines of Grace and to this day attends a sovereign grace church(to my sorry even thought our Pastor of 11 years knowing these things told me he didn't think he was saved, but never confronted him about them).<br><br>It took an act of God to keep these things away from my children, without dishonoring him as their father. God was very gracious as they honor him, but have a very deep heart for ALL races. He blasted the Jews, the Blacks, and anyone not White, Anglo-Saxon American. After our divorce he stopped as I then would not have them poisoned with his sickness. Recently, now that they are grown, told them he thought the Jews bombed the World Trade Center, etc etc etc.<br><br>Quite frankly I think if you have any of this type of feelings you need to drop to your knees and make sure YOU are one of His.<br>It was Christ that tore down the middle wall of partition and redeemed the races. And what have you that you have not received? I know this line of thinking and it leads to nothing good. It is a self-righteous, clearly thinking along the lines of a Pharisee.<br><br>Linda

The article is by a Douglas Culver. <br>Tom's name is Tom Hardy, not Douglas Culver. <br>Tom posted the article here for our review - I don't believe he is the writer (unless I'm missing something).<br><br>Steve C

I am just concerned at the reason it was posted to begin with.

Regardless of where it is from, I don't see where it is edifying to anyone.<br><br>Having lived through this for many years it is a VERY tender subject, especially when I see the hate and bias it creates. There are too many things that could be edifying to the saints for us to pass around slanderous material about anyone. I find it difficult to pray for our enemies while slandering them. <br><br>So everyone can hear me, I was not intentionally attacking Tom, my Canadian friend!<br><br>So, now you see why I am need of grace!

I am also assuming that you have read it before anyone here did. Thus, you certainly have had more time to digest it and form an opinion about some or all that the author wrote. If then, YOU don't have an opinion as yet, is it really fair to expect anyone else to express an opinion who has only been exposed to it now?<br>

Linda<br><br>I am not the author of that article and I not quite sure the author believes in a Jewish conspiracy. At least that is not what I understood him to be saying.<br>If I had thought that is what he was saying, there would have been no way that I would have started this thread.<br>I am in the process of trying to find out more about the author, I had thought that he was reformed. But judging from the responses on this board, I am questioning that.<br>I didn't find anything anti-Jewish or for that matter anti-American or anti-Christian. But then again, I have misunderstood authors before and I am sure I will again.<br>Please forgive me; I never anticipated that the link would be anything but informative.<br><br>I have one question though; what made you think that I was the author of the article?<br><br>Tom
