I am in need of prayer and or advice as how to answer someone I hope to proclaim the Gospel to.
I want to do this as gently as possible, while at the same time speak clearly concerning the Gospel and other areas he mentioned.
I am not ashamed of the Gospel.

The following is what he just said to me.

“Tom Hardy First, Trump is a public official. He represents all Americans, including the gay and trans ones, does he not? Second, I don't know what you mean when you use the term, "woke" - it seems to be applied fairly liberally. What I do know is that I've always been gay, and when I see and hear about words and actions which marginalize, attack, and exclude people because of their sexual orientation, how am I supposed to feel? How would YOU feel? My sexuality is integral to my identity, as it is to yours. Why should the state or public institutions treat me and you differently from one another?”

Tell him the TRUTH which is found ONLY in Scripture concerning human beings.
1. God created man(kind) male and female.
2. God intended sexual relations to be done between male and female in the covenant of marriage.
3. Anything and everything other than the above is an aberration, a distortion, a violation of which the Creator intended.
4. The origination of such deviations from God's creation and intention of the life of those individuals is sin; the penalty of Adam's rebellion and disobedience of God's command(s) which consists of a corruption of nature (aka: Total Depravity) and judicial guilt before the infinite holy God which is thus deserving of eternal damnation.
5. Thus regardless of when this person realized his attraction for other males, that realization was nothing less than the expression of his sin nature and guiltiness before God.
6. The resolution is that God the Holy Spirit would regenerate his spiritually dead nature and bring the knowledge of his condition to his heart, mind and affections thus moving him infallibly to repent of his acknowledged sinful nature, sin in thought, word and deed and cast himself before God and plead for mercy and forgiveness. This knowledge comes through the hearing/reading of the Gospel which God has ordained as the means through which the Spirit works in the minds and hearts of sinners to being them to the Lord Jesus Christ. The reading of God's inspired, infallible Word is the best means one can gain what is necessary for salvation.
7. Regardless whether or not God's Spirit comes and works regeneration in one's soul, the commandments of God are applicable nevertheless. In short, repent of your homosexuality and follow the Law of God for one's own good in this life and for the good of all men.

The truth is that Gay and Lesbians have the same rights that we all do as American citizens, and yet what the more radical ones in the midst want us as Christians to do would be to make legitimate their lifestyle choices, as being exactly same as heterosexuals' couples and unions, which we cannot, based upon the scriptural mandates against that lifestyle
