"Here are some other things I was thinking about. How are they going to participate in something like the Lord's Supper if they aren't attending church? What kind of example does this set for their children? Do they include things like singing hymns during their worship at home? Tithing? There is a big difference between just reading the Bible and hearing it preached." ~ John

Hi John,
<img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> This group doesn't believe in singing hymns. To them hymn singing is an act of idolatrous worship, which means to them, we who are in hymn singing Churches, are committing idolatry every Sunday morning when we sing hymns to God. I had someone try to explain it to me so it didn't sound so ugly, but no matter what spin they try to put on it, it still comes across like 'were better than you and our worship is more pure'.
As far as tithing and partaking of the Lord's supper I have know idea what they do now.

blessing.

Tom
