My pastor uses the expository style with prepared notes. We've been going through Matthew since my family started going there about four years ago and they were in chapter 16 or 17 at the time. We are now in chapter 26. He takes breaks occasionally and preaches topically. He and his twin brother are the pastors. They both went to UC Berkeley for their undergrad and then attended Westminster Seminary in Escondido, CA.
