Jari, I hope you will be able to answer several questions about the responses you made in this thread and several statements in your documentation : Responses:
Because millions of unsaved people play video games which will only lead them futher away from God instead to Him
... I want to offer something different for these people, something spiritual, a game ... meant to give another desire and that is doing God's will.
Documentation
... the game begins with moral trials and lessons which every one considers ethically correct despite the fact of persons religion. By doing so we will build a connection with the player and God's righteousness.
... as the player advances in the game, the meaning and the origin of this moral message becomes more clearer and that player is introduced more closely to the gospel of our Saviour, Lord Jesus Christ.
During the game play player will be given moral lessons throughout the quests. These lessons are based on God's commands and teachings in the Bible.
... will player be able to choose the right path and take quest to find the truth? This is the main goal for the player; finding the righteous way through Jesus Christ in to life.
There is a wide range of different quests starting from finding lost items ... and so on to quests like converting people .... These we're all good quests but for there the unrighteous way there quests where player steals, lies, search for treasures and gathers he/hers earthly fortune.
The main goal for every player as real person is to find the way to life through Jesus Christ. In game this is done by giving player different paths to take. Player can seek for fame and wealth or take the narrow path to life and search for the truth and become strong in faith. Each quest player takes leads closer to one of these goals. However there is only one main goal and that's discovering the truth. And only player him self can reach this goal in he/hers mind. ... Player must be able decide by him self has he/she reached the goal and what is still left to learn from the two paths this game demostrades. 1) Are you able to give Biblical support for stating that the playing of video games EITHER leads people further away from God OR gives a desire to do God's will?2) Assume 2 players, "A" and "B". "A" continues to make predominantly "right choices" and "B" continues to make predominantly "wrong choices". As the game progresses, would the information given to the 2 players differ? If so, in what way?3) Within the game itself, not real life, is there any way for a player to move from "the wrong path" onto "the right path"? If so, what would cause such a move?4) You mention giving the player "moral lessons". What would be an example of such a moral lesson?5) Have you had any discussion about your game with the elders of your church?6) Finally, whether or not your game communicates them directly to the "lost players" of your "target audience", what are the essential elements of the gospel of Jesus Christ?
In Christ, Paul S
