I have also recently posted a question music in church. What Wes is saying about using secular tunes is certainly true, but I feel it should not be the norm. My view is that since the Church is the body of Christ, the regenerated humankind, music for use in church should be produced from within the community of believers. God certainly also gave the gifts of producing God glorifying music to his children.
From this point of view I am really skeptical that all styles of secular music can be "christianized".
