Your thinking is going the same route of the Pharasees, hung up on particulars and because of that, unable to see the truth. Let each judge on their own what is true. You're being rather lazy. You need to validate your view from Scripture. It is not an argument to say that this is simply the general tenor of the Bible. You need to show where in Scripture baptism is connected with priestly consecration.
