Whew... that's quite a quote. I would have preferred a link to where this was taken so that I could read it there or an attached, .txt, .doc or .pdf file which I could have downloaded and read at my leisure.

However, such a lengthy quote would require a response of equal or greater length to which I neither have time to do nor want to burden the server.

However, I think even though the writer and the Greek Orthodox Church would like to distance themselves from the RCC doctrine of "Oral Tradition", they end up being basically the same. This is an old, old issue and one which has been more than adequately refuted by various defenders of the "closed canon" tradition which includes the Scriptures being the sole and final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
Perhaps one of the most recent and thorough refutations can be found in the 3-volume
Sola Scriptura, by David King and William Webster. Others may be able to give direct links to more refutations and/or debates on this subject, e.g., by James White and other apologists.
