This site, and all the work that goes into archiving, sorting, preserving, and discussing the teachings of the Reformation and refuting the deceptive errors of those who constantly threaten to undo them, has been a source of safety and stability for me over the last several years.

That safety, stability, and accountability is why I moved ExCharisma here to the-highway when it became unmanageable for me. There is simply no other site I trust as much to preserve and carry on ExCharisma's mission. And the design of the forums here, splitting into categories, made more sense than sorting and managing everything from an e-mail loop and trying to make sure everyone's questions got answered biblically and compassionately.

After my own church and presbytery refused my pleas for help and accountability for the ministry (which at one point had grown to hundreds of people and had made me an unwilling and unqualified "cyber pastor" of sorts), I knew exactly where to turn for help: To the one site that had so many solid people who had helped me in my distress before, and who came to trust me as well, eventually.

I am grateful for the-highway and honored to be a part of this small but powerful cyber-family. Thanks to all who have shared the burden of keeping the-highway going, and to all who guard the route, maintain the road, fix potholes, pick up the litter, and operate the tow trucks and patrols along this wonderful highway.
