1. The son submitted to the father in eternity past, he was even sent as the son, and he is recognized as the son at least since creation.

Hebrews 1:2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.
2. "Is it okay to pray to the Son and the Holy Spirit or should all prayer be addressed to the Father?"
Good question, I know there are prayers to Jesus in the bible.... but to the Holy Spirit idk. I asked the same thing just last week.
