All this is personal and it has NOTHING to do with the truth concerning Romans 1 and homosexuality!!

What "original text"? NO ONE has the original hand-written letter to the Romans. It doesn't matter if one holds to the Textus Receptus or the Nestle-Arndt text. They are nearly identical and the context as well as the relevant passages clearly speak of homosexuality and not pedophilia. In fact, the Bible as a whole teaches that homosexuality in whatever form is an abomination. This enemy of God can use all the hermeneutical gymnastics he wants, but he cannot get around that homosexuality is against nature itself and condemned by God.

Also, I quoted 2Peter 2:1,2 for good reason which speaks directly to all the personal calamities and rejection of God's truth which you are being faced with. A true Christian cannot... CANNOT embrace homosexuality or condone it or claim Scripture doesn't mention it. A biblical church would more than likely start discipline proceedings against anyone who made such claims and if they refused to repent, they would be excommunicated; their profession of faith would be found false.

You claim to have studied Romans chapter one and parallel passages, etc. yet you admit to being thrown off by some moron who claims all scholars in the past have been ignorant of the 'original languages'. But he/they/it are God's anointed who are bringing forth the lost truth?

We are living in the last days when many will walk away from the truth for whatever reason, which God has ordained to show His mercy and grace to those who fail not to run the race and face persecution from within the Church and without. Remember how it was in Jesus' day when thousands turned their backs on the Son of God and walked with Him no more because of His hard sayings? And when this occurred He turned to His disciples and asked them, "John 6:67-68 (ASV) 67 Jesus said therefore unto the twelve, Would ye also go away? 68 Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life." strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matt 7:14)
