The alleged rise in prices due to tariffs is somewhat suspect and even if they do go up it will be temporary. When the fair trade practices are implemented, prices will settle and even drop. Exporting will be benefit the most. As to your second question re: why aren't other people complaining outside the US? Part of the reason is the 'news' media controls what you hear/see to push/protect their narrative which is invariably LEFT. The cost of living in the US was at al an all-time high due to the socio-communist agenda of the Biden regime long before the increases that the alleged tariffs created. In actuality, prices are dropping here in New England across the board with a few exceptions. Gas is significantly lower as are grocery bills. Patience is a virtue. The foreign countries have gouged the US with their tariffs and in some cases they had total bans on US goods. And, e.g., Tom didn't even know that Canada had 200+% tariffs on US dairy and poultry imports. His 'friends' told him that no such thing existed, but I replied that having lived there for 15 years the cost of those products and many others was staggering vs. US prices. And yes, Canada had/has a total ban on various US made products. Its time for paybacks to these really harsh trade policies that the US has had to endure. FAIR trade is coming for the most part. And for those countries who want to keep their silly tariffs against the US, WE DON'T NEED THEM!
