I have read different versions of this verse. The newer translations reads faith in Christ. The older reads faith of Christ.

Would anyone here care to stab at this one please? What is the faith OF Christ that saves us>?

I did nto know this issue cause some contention here. That was not my intention. WHen I see cliche's thrown around in regards to a biblical question like this, I get alarmed at that reaction.

"cultish mentality"
"Heretical belief"

I do not even know what Tony Warren wrote in regards to this. So My inquierywas only to determine what the meaning of the text is. To all who replied on the previous thread in regards to this subject, please do nto conclude it only takes common sense to resolve this issue. That I Have. Does reading this as OF instead of In destroy confessional or traditional understanding?
