How did different skin colors come about?

Where did the human races come from?

The normal applies.

Maybe we should ask when people became white <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I don't think we are told when this happened. I guess its the same reason as why we all have different hair color, eye color, etc. Although we definitely can see how the Fall has given mankind a propensity to see their race as the best and others as inferior. We can also see how, even among Christians, 11 am on Sunday is still the most segregated hour (at least in America).

But the Bible is clear that all are equally deserving of God's wrath, but that God has chosen to save people from aevery tongue, tribe, people, and nation.

Rom 2:12- "For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law"

Rom 3:9- "What then? Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin"

John 12:32- "And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself."

Ephesians 3
4 By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,
5 which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;
6 to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,
7 of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God's grace which was given to me according to the working of His power.
8 To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,
9 and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things;
10 so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.
11 This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord,
12 in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.

(Interestingly enough, the word for "manifold" in the Greek can can also mean "multi-colored")

1 John 3:2- "and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world."

Revelation 5
8 When He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
9 And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.
10 "You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth."

Not that we are to focus on our differences, but focus on our unity in Christ!

Gal 3
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise.

True godliness is a sincere feeling which loves God as Father as much as it fears and reverences Him as Lord, embraces His righteousness, and dreads offending Him worse than death~ Calvin
