I believe with all my heart that some Pentecostal are saved. Jesus alone save. No a denomination. Now their theology is wrong very wrong Paul was terrible wrong too. Before the road It is just God supremacy in salvation. You and I do not know who is the elect.

I agree with you. I believe God will save some people who attend Penticostal churches too. Not because of the teaching they receive at church but in spite of it. For God word will not return void but will accomplish that for which He sends it. If the Holy Spirit changes their nature and they hear His voice surely they will repent and believe.
However, that shouldn't make us less sensitive to the errors Penticostals embrace. I feel sure that if the Holy Spirit is active in a person who attends a church that lacks the marks of a true church they will soon depart and look for a different church that follows the Bible more faithfully.
You might like to know that several members here on the highway could give you a testimony of doing just that.

Amen! The denomination I was raised in wasn’t Pentecostal or charismatic, but it was completely unbiblical. They taught salvation by works, baptismal regeneration, freewill, the loss of salvation, etc., etc., but God revealed the Truth of His word to me and after a couple of years of hearing sermons full of error, we left. Praise God that He opens blind eyes and deaf ears!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />

David,
I've been watching all this charismatic stuff for some time now. I've been there, and was once tempted to believe in the "FULL GOSPEL". I could quote the good Scripture again and again as others have already done to these people. However, I know how deeply they want our sovereign Lord to somehow, somewhere show them a sign in their faithlessness. It hurts me to see these "spirit filled Christians" fall into line with this undeniable Roman Catholic spirituality.
What ultimately convinced me of the terrible heresy of the charismatics was a single thought about it all. The thought was about the utter radicalness of the coming to earth of the Person of the Son of God and how time itself was and is centered on this event.
So I only want to say this to all the charismatics participating in these recent threads that just might listen to the true "Full Gospel".
The Spirit of our God has spoken to us finally, completely and without the necessity of another single word or sign. He has done so in the words of N.T. Scripture gifted to us some 2000 years ago. It is my belief that any attempt to add to or subtract from these final words of Scripture by whatever wrestled means, as the charismatics clearly do, is unbelief and without repentance, ultimately leads to spiritual chaos and death (Rev. 22:18,19).
Are there Christians in the Charismatic Movement? If there are, they are just passing through.

The elect are chosen by God not based upon anything that we do, but because of His great love and compassion. I also believe that many in Pentecostal churches will turn away from some of thier "distinctive" doctrines, and embrace a more radically Christ-centered, God-exalting, Bible-saturated Theology. In love, I would say that I disagree with your signature though. If we are of the elect, we are predestined to adoption, we are predestined to conformity to the image of Jesus Christ. Only by grace can we ever joyfully embrace the doctrines of grace. Blessings, Kevin

True! The people are saved IN SPITE OF what is being taught in these churches! They are saved by Jesus' death on the cross, justified by grace through faith in Christ.
Grace is not common.
