It is sad how many christians sing songs that really
worship nature. Rather than worship God.
More of them are Baptist. I am Baptist, so nothing personal,
Any comments?

That's an interesting observation. But it would be very helpful if you could give one or more examples of these songs that you believe, "worship nature". At least, I would like to see specific examples so I could understand better what you are referring to. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Many "Christian" songs/hymns are experiential, rather than doctrinal. The purpose of a Christian hymn is to teach, not to move to an emotional experience.
This is like the use of popular music in the worship service. Big mistake! Pop music is indelibly linked in our minds to something profane. We associate it with things of this world. The beat tends to define and dominate the music. Pop music by defintion cannot be catholic (don't freak out people, small "c" in catholic) since it is in today, out tomorrow.

Grace is not common.
