Marie, I wasn't even aware of some of the details until I read them after. I am quite concerned about the resolution on Integrity in Church Membership too. Seems like salvation shouldn't even be a debatable point there. Anyway, I don't think those Founders folks are going to let up.

I also a Southern Baptist. Have you been keeping up with what James White at www.aomin.org calls "As Liberty turns"? "Dr." Ergun Caner first appeared on Tom Ascol's Founder's blog making a big stink about Calvinists. Then he and his brother were suposed to have a debate with James White and Tom Ascol, but Dr. Caner, who is SEMINARY PRESIDENT at Liberty, has been acting like a complete jerk (to be polite) in setting up the debate topic, format, etc. Go to James White's site and read the correspondence files he has posted there. Then weep if this is the future of the SBC. It sounds like they intend to "drive out those hyper-Calvinists".
