IN THE NEWS
The National Football League suspended Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick indefinitely without pay, hours after he agreed to plea guilty to a federal conspiracy charge related to a dogfighting operation.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a letter to Vick that his "admitted conduct was not only illegal, but also cruel and reprehensible."
All the boys at my work are very upset about the National Baalball Leagues Sabbath breaking quarterback Michael Vick’s dogfighting operation. They believe it is inhuman.
If only they would get this fired up about abortion. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/ugh.gif" alt="" />
(I am not mocking Vick he most likely is in need of Christ but that is not my point)

I think you have a really good point, myself: it is indeed sad when our society places a higher emphasis on how we treat animals than on how we treat the unborn. (For that matter, why would these same people not get upset about man-fighting? That is, boxing?)
I realize that boxing is not illegal, unlike dogfighting. Just a rhetorical question, I suppose.
