Somehow this got combined with another one yestrday & didn't show up. Anyway, I asked for some help on information that would indicate the Book of Revelation was written prior to 70 AD (the destruction of Jerusalem & the temple)
I know that in John's vision on Patmos God told him to measure the Temple, which of course would have been be prior to 70 AD.
Most of my acquaintances are Disensationalists & are ready to go to war with me.
Any suggestions?

It appears that the reason people can substantiate the later date is a comment from Irenaeus. The information here and here may help. Your post appeared in the Open Forum, btw...

We've discussed the subject here before. I've been trying to find it in the archives without success. If no one else has better luck, I'll try to re-post my evidence for an early date.
