The Statue of Liberty
There is one essential requirement in the Number Game; it must be based upon facts. For “Number Follows Measurement Function”.
Anyway, my usual gameplay as an N-Gamer is that of trying to discover the measurement reasoning the architect had in mind.
A reasonable example is written into the measurement for the height of the Statue of Liberty, a statue that is 3,661 inches high, some 305 feet I inch.
But first to:
‘Liberty Enlightening the World’
Inscription: The New Colossus Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, with conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand a mighty woman with a torch whose flame is imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles.
From her beacon-hand glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command the air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. "Keep ancient lands your storied pomp!" cries she with silent lips.
"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
Emma Lazarus (1849-1887)
Title of Statue: "Liberty Enlightening the World" Date Construction of the Statue began in France: 1875 Location of Statue: Liberty Island, formerly Bedloe's Island Harbor 1811) Height 305 feet I inch Sculptor: Auguste Bartholdi Structural Engineer: Gustave Eiffel
Statue completed in Paris: June 1884 Statue presented to America by the people of France: July 4, 1884 Statue dismantled and shipped to US: Early 1885 Date designated a National Monument: October 15th, 1924
Inscription on tablet: "July 4, 1776" (in Roman numerals) Day of America's Independence from Britain: July 4th, 1776
Figure from base to torch: 151 feet 1 inch Pedestal 154 feet Height 305 feet 1 inch.
So a clue to this N-Game is that the statue is a ‘Statue of Light’.
Now light speed always travels at a constant speed of some 186,282.5 miles per second (299,792,500 meters per second). To be precise, what we usually call the ‘speed of light’ is, really, the speed of light in a vacuum (the absence of matter). in reality, the speed of light depends on the material that light moves through. Thus, for example, light moves slower in air (about 40 miles per second slower).
Phi is of the Light
Phi (Ø) to the first 15 places is 1.618033988749895.
The ratio, or proportion, determined by Phi was known to the Greeks as the "Golden Section" and to Renaissance artists as the "Divine Proportion"
Phi increased to 1.6180339888749895e+46 and squared x 10 and square root 7 times and reciprocate x 1,000,0000 is 186,282.504 miles per second.
So more or less perfect light speed in a vacuum at 186,282.5 miles per second is found in Phi.
By the way, 109 is a reference for ‘Fire’. And 1.090000e+89 x 2 lots and square root thrice is equivalent to Light at 186,282.505 miles per second squared x Phi at 1.618033989 cubed.
So Phi which makes ‘Light’ and Light x Phi makes ‘Fire’.
Also I can extract the speed of light out of the number 12. Now the Bible makes a great thing about the number 12. And 1,200,000,000 cubed and /20 and square root 5 times and cube root x 100,000 is the speed of light at 186,282.483 mps.
Hebrew cubit - Ark of the Covenant “And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits [long] by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.” The Book of Ezekiel 40:5
So the standard cubit was 18 inches but this sacred cubit was 21.25 inches long, and so a reed at 10.625 feet.
This means the volume of the volume of the Ark of the Covenant at 5.625 cubic cubits yields 31.23601278 cubic feet when using the sacred cubit of 21.25 inches (the Ancient Egyptian’s pyramid cubit was 20.6120 inches).
The Arithmetic for the Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty at 305 feet 1 inch is 3,661 inches x 12 lines (Old English) is 43,932 lines.
Now the Ark of the Covenant at 31.23601278 cubic feet a 1,728 cubic inches x 1,728 cubic lines is 93,270,234.38 cubic lines and this volume cubed and divided by the height of the Statue of Liberty at 43,932 lines multiplied by 7 and divided by 20 and cube root and /10 is the speed of light at 186,282.514 miles per second.
So the Ark of the Covenant ‘contains’ the Statue of ‘Light’ and Light.
Contrive by me? Yes. Known by the architect? I know not.

John, Are you of the opinion that this type of calculating of numbers is what God truly intended everyone to use for the purpose of understanding the written Word? More precisely, how do you square this obsession with numbers with the doctrine of inspiration? Thanks

I suppose I am a 'Big God' follower.
God obviously measures and is not so much a magician.
OK, I picked this out of the hat so to speak, an important time is the number of days between the start of Passover and the Day of Atonement which is 172 days.
What is the first thing which I think of with such a number as 172?
It is the Light.
Because 172,000 x 7/3 and cubed /10 and cube root is the speed of light at 186,282.432 miles per second
Hence, the time difference after Passover to the Day of Atonement shows Light.
As far as I know the time period has always been 172 days.
So I do get much spiritual understanding from measurements.
JohnDM
PS As you well know: Passover is celebrated in the spring, beginning on 15 Nisan. Passover is the festival celebrating the Exodus from Egypt Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement, of Divine judgment, and of “affliction of souls” (Lev. 23:26-32) so that the individual Jew may be cleansed of sins. The only fast day decreed in the Bible.

I suppose I am a 'Big God' follower. Would you be so kind as to define 'Big God'? Most consistent biblical Calvinists are accused of giving too much power and authority to God, aka: a 'Big God'. But I suspect your definition is decidedly different, no? God obviously measures and is not so much a magician. God really doesn't have to "measure" anything! Since finite beings live and function in time and space, then they naturally have need of expressing limitations in the form of specific quantities. Now as to the rest of your response and I'll include your other two posts here as well, has it ever caused you to wonder why not one prophet or apostle nor especially Jesus Christ Himself ever used Scripture and 'calculated measurements' in order to convey God's will? Do your Statue of Liberty calculations ever cause you to realize that every individual since Adam until you came along was kept in the dark concerning the true understanding of Noah's Ark? Are you familiar with the ancient group called the 'Gnostics'? Or the heretical practice called 'Numerology'? Oh, and you failed to answer my question in regard to your hermeneutical system and how it impacts/relates to the biblical doctrine of divine inspiration.

So to the American goddess Columbia.
A bit more on the number 172
The goddess Columbia is not a Greek or Roman goddess, although she borrowed a few attributes when she needed them, but a consciously created god-form archetype inserted into the mass consciousness of the country at its founding. And I repeat she now stands 19.5 feet tall, atop the Capital dome. She weighs 14,985 pounds which gives her the title ‘Miss 666’ because 14,895 divided by 1.5 and 150 is 666. And the square root of 666 x Pi and /0.75 is 108.1000 square miles, the area of the Dead Sea under Israel’s authority.
Now 172 x 10 x 3/8 and cubed and /10 and cube root twice x 2,240 pounds (one Imperial ton) is 14,985.0022 pounds, and 14,985 pounds divide by 150 and 1.5 is 666.
Hence 666 comes of the 172 days from Passover to the Day of Atonement.
Mmm...

And who determines these 'formulas' you use, e.g., " because 14,895 divided by 1.5 and 150 is 666. And the square root of 666 x Pi and /0.75 is 108.1000 square miles..."??

With due respect, of course God measures.
"The hermeneutical system"
"History - This method was used by many 2nd & 3rd century church fathers. It was established as the preferred method of interpretation by Augustine and was dominant in Catholicism throughout the Middle Ages. It is also used by amillenialists in interpreting unfulfilled prophecy."
Me, I get personal revelation quite often.
I suppose it was on May 16th 1983 that my thinking changed.
It was on this day I had my first and only open-eye Biblical like apparition, when at 2:30am I was woken up whilst sleeping next to my sleeping wife and looked towards the windows, when the curtains ‘disappeared’ and in their place was a large white screen. Then, the very short metaphysical ‘movie’ first showed me a wilderness location, and temporary accommodation units of a rather different type, in that each unit consisted of four interlocking circular and tents standing on a 10 x 10 metre square base. I knew it was exactly 10 metres because a ‘voice’ spoke into my mind.
The second part of the apparition was seeing the Adversary himself, but Satan had taken on the form of a waxwork look-alike Margaret Thatcher, the then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. I knew she was a wax image because she started to melt from the head down and slowly I saw Satan appearing as standing inside her looking directly at me. And after a few minutes, the apparition ended, and I was ‘told’ not to wake up my wife and to stay in bed until 6am. At 6am I jumped out of bed, woke my wife and children and went into another room to draw what I had seen in respect of the tents. I should add that in 1983 I was still involved in printing and graphic arts and had no knowledge of Biblical measurements.
Now you know what few people know.

I suppose I taken it as a means to an end.
Anyway, after 24 years of number crunching arithmetic, and 'destroying' four scientific calculators, having done a million or two calculations, I have a reasonable idea of what works.
Phew!

Well John, methinks you are in the wrong place. Here are some facts about Numerology which don't accord with your history of it being used in the Church. In short, you have earned yourself a one-way ticket out of here! ![[Linked Image]](http://the-highway.com/Smileys/Banned-lg.gif)

I am not saying the quote is exactly the same, but the occurrence was similar to the claims of Joseph Smith. Does anyone else see the similarities? Tom
