It has taken me several years to get this person to even read one chapter which she very recently did! She was taught zilch from the Bible all her life! So she read John Chapter Three and told me that she doesn't understand it. I'm constantly (gently) telling her what Christ wants us to do.

What should I teach her next? She wanted to know if the there's a preacher she should watch on TV. I told her to forget that.

The little gospel of John by itself is wonderful... and like any good book, should be read from beginning to end rather than piecemeal and in random order. It is a narrative, so just ask her to read the story and then you two can talk about it's meaning.

It's wonderful that this is more than just a wonderful story, but God's own everlasting and infallible word, energized by the Holy Spirit! Thank you for sharing it with someone who needs it!

1. Reading Scripture is without question the most important source one could possibly recommend to someone. For, faith comes by hearing (reading) the Word of God (Rom 10:14-17), which also makes clear that it is through the instrumentality of "preachers"; one who speaks of God's truth to others.

2. There are a couple of resources on the main website which you may find very helpful as you converse with this person. You could print them out for her read.

- An Appointment You Will Keep.

- A Gospel Summary, which is hoped to be printed in booklet form in the near future. grin

My Epson Artisan 837 won't print! BTW, I can barely read the screen, which is why I'm using large font.

You can enlarge the screen Lynda to make it easier to see. I don't know what kind of computer you are using so I can't advise you. I know that on my computer, a Mac, I use command +

On a PC there should be a percentage indicator in your lower right-hand corner which you can click on and increase the size to something you can read. If you have a wheel on your mouse, I think you can hold down control and roll the wheel to make it bigger.

In the unlikely event that you're using a Linux operating system you can press Alt and use the mouse scroll wheel to enlarge and shrink the screen display in most desktop environments.

In Windows 8 Hold the Cntrl key while hitting the + sign.

There used to be a percentage indicator, but when my daughter switched my PC to Google Chrome it disappeared. I haven't a clue what Command is. I guess I'll go back to preschool!

PRAISE GOD! No, I'm not one who jumps or dances in church. I just want to share my happiness. I don't know how I did it (no memory) but my printer is working! It hasn't worked for months!
