Greetings in the Lord Christ Brethren and Sistren :-)

Some of you have known me for many years because of this website. I met Pilgrim on another forum about 20 years ago and before he became the owner of this one. God has been kind to this undone sinner saved by His grace alone by allowing me to pastor again in His sovereignty and providence. I just started 2 weeks ago, and it is a traditional Arminian SBC Church in our general area. It will be a long slow process of reformation if God is willing. Please keep me in your prayers as you have remembrance both for that and the immediate future as we endeavor to sell our house and move closer to the church (currently we are 35 miles away). Thank you. Soli Deo Gloria!!!

Congratulations, Brother Brett,

My own church took the journey from "traditionally" semi-Pelagian to fully adopting the London Baptist Confession of 1689. It took many years for them to do so, and it was not without cost and pain. When I arrived that battle was long over, but new ones challenge us just as they do every gospel-preaching church that makes itself a threat to the Enemy.

I wonder how different it would be for Southern Baptists if they realized that the Reformed faith is the Baptist tradition, long predating the evangelical/fundamentalist/semi-Pelagian "tradition" that most SBC churches seem to follow.

Prayers for you and your church as you embark on that journey! Perhaps my pastor, who led our church on that same journey years ago, can offer encouragement and help as well.

Grace and peace to you and the family as Reformation is now on the move in the SBC, praying for your strength and for wisdom as you endeavor to bring them out of darkness and into light,..
