The doctrine of "Definite/Limited Atonement" is alive and well on planet earth. There are many who have written on the subject who are still breathing. But once you have read many of the works of deceased authors, e.g., John Owen, Pink, Smeaton, et al, you will realize that these men went into such depth and covered the subject so completely, that there really isn't much anyone could add. Owen's work, The Death of Death in the Death of Christ is so thorough that perhaps nothing more need be said on the subject as far as the extent of the atonement. Have you read J.I. Packer's, Introductory Essay...? If not, I heartily commend it to you. Secondly, there are very few Calvinist/Reformed men who broadcast on TV or on Radio. I can't speak as to the reason why this is so, but with the overwhelming majority of the programs being broadcast by Pentecostals, semi-Pelagian/Arminians, Sects, Cults, etc., it shouldn't be surprising that you wouldn't hear any mention of "Particular Redemption". That's one of the reasons for the existence of The Highway website and this Discussion Board; to make known and available the doctrines of Scripture to those who love them and/or for those who otherwise wouldn't be exposed to them. In His grace,
simul iustus et peccator
