Just about anything written by Spurgeon is worth reading. But let me add this personal caution... ![[Linked Image]](http://www.the-highway.com/Smileys/duck2.gif) I have found that Spurgeon has a penchant to take specific promises of God given to individuals and univeralize them; applying them to all believers where I do not find any exegetical warrant to do so. Remember, C.H. Spurgeon was a man and like any of us was prone to err. Therefore, read discerningly and with your Bible open. Of course, this bit of my own advice applies to any writer and is not meant to be restricted to Spurgeon only. So, if the typeset is readable (not very small) and the books are in reasonably good condition... Oh....and if they are priced 'right', then by all means grab them.
