Pilgrim Thinking further on what you said, particularly ; aka: dark providences, as a blessing from God who is purging away the dross from that remaining sinful nature to produce something of beauty...being transformed into Christ’s image (Rom.8:28  Would you say that what we are to "count it all joy" about is not the dark providences, but the end result, mainly being transformed into Christ's image?
