A poll on creationism. I found a similar poll elsewhere, and thought it might be interesting to see the results.
The question is: What kind of Creationist are you?.
(I do realize the 7 choices may not be all-inclusive).

What kind of Creationist are You?
single choice
Votes accepted starting: Thu Feb 17, 2005 2:00 AM
You must vote before you can view the results of this poll.

Thanks!

I chose young earth. I see no reason to believe in an old earth. One of the main arguments for an old earth is the age of fossils and other geological items. But I liked the argument John MacArthur made in his book Battle for the Beginning that God created the earth with an age (though obviously it was created ex nihilo).

By the way, MacArthur's book is very good, no matter if you believe in a young or an old earth. It is a wonderful exegesis of the first three chapters of Genesis.

True godliness is a sincere feeling which loves God as Father as much as it fears and reverences Him as Lord, embraces His righteousness, and dreads offending Him worse than death~ Calvin

I was pleased to see the bulk of the folks voted correctly, but I would be curious if the lone, old earth progressive would be willing to justify his choice both from scripture and science.

Tsk tsk, Fred, you are biasing my oh so unbiased poll (ha) with your statement about "voting correctly". <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/threadvolution_blink.gif" alt="" />

I voted young earth, but couldn't "undecided, non-evolution" be a choice?
