Has anyone heard of Mr. Camping's latest book: Time Has an End? His latest prediction for the return of Christ is 2011 and he is also claiming that no one was converted to Christ between 1986 and 1994!!! Didn't Ellen G. White also have a similar doctrine of "the shut door"? Anyway, a bunch of Harold Camping devotees are reviewing this book on Amazon.com. They are driving up the rating of this book with five star ratings.

David W, One of the reviews summed it up pretty well. Harold Camping has retooled his allegorical method of eisegesis to create this heretical doctrine. Zealots and proselytes of Mr. Camping will love this book (hence the five star ratings), but anyone who reads this book with a mind of their own (i.e. free of Mr. Camping's influence and doctrine) and in the light of Holy Scripture, will see the book for what it really is; a book worthy only of the trash heap.
Mr. Camping's unwillingness to engage others in real debate, outside of his comfortable Open Forum studio, proves he cannot defend the contents of his book. You can't argue with Harold Camping because of his allegorical method of eisegesis. He simply reads his own thoughts into the text and continues to lead people astray. It's amazing to me how many people listen to his Family Radio programs and are blindly following his teachings. These folks are following a man not the Word of God. I happen to know some and have had lengthy discussions with them. What I have found is that they have been taught a different way to interpret Scripture.<img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> James White has written a very good book about Mr. Camping called Dangerous Airwaves which exposes him for what he is. If you look at the reviews of this book on Amazon.com you'll notice Camping's disciples defend him. However, if you want to read a discussion we had on Harold Camping and James White's book you'll find it in an old thread in the book nook. Wes
