Teachers and public Schools

I want to start this by saying, if I had school aged children, they would not be attending public school.
However, I am seeing an attitude I am concerned about coming from even some of my best Christian friends.
They are saying until proven otherwise, “I suspect every single public school teacher as suspect in their profession.”

The problem with that, is that although most of the Christian teachers I know, are either retired, or now work in private schools.
Others have chosen (rightly or wrongly) to stay and try to keep a good Christian witness in the public school system as long as they can.
I believe them, because I have seen how they live their lives.
I was talking to a Christian friend about this subject, relating how there are teachers and educational assistants, who meet to discuss these issues. Especially with SOGI in the schools. One such person, sent me a video of one of these meetings about two years ago.
I related this to a Christian friend and he told me, that was two years ago, it would not happen now and seemed to not believe anything to the contrary.

While if I was an educator, I probably would have left by now. I think it is very uncharitable to suspect all teachers and EAs of catering to Woke ideology.

A while back, I saw a discussion on social media, and Christians were shredding all teachers. One teacher, actually spoke up and said they have not compromised their Christianity and resent people questioning their integrity.

Comments and opinions are appreciated.

Tom

I would agree with the statement above. Why would I not agree... no, how could I not agree with that statement. Knowing the biblical teaching concerning the natural man and given the example by the Lord Christ in John 2:25, it is only biblical and logical to assume that ALL men, women, children, and yes teachers are unregenerate. Thus, it is certainly wise to 'test the spirits' and thus judge rightly of each individual especially given the gross distortion of the 'gospel' and the professions offered in today's society. (Matt. 7:21-23)

My issue is I know personally that although a lot of Christian teachers leave the public school system. Others choose to stay and fight against the tide.
I may not agree with staying. However, I believe them when they say they will not teach things like SOGI in the schools.

Eventually I believe that depending on the school, they may be fired for doing so.
I am not going to tell a Christian teacher, that they believe a false Gospel.

1. Probably so if they are required to blend that crap into their respective curriculum.
2. I guess those that would accuse teachers who choose to stay and fight as believing a false gospel, then they would have to make the same moronic judgment upon Martin Luther, John Calvin and many other faithful Christians who over the centuries chose to stay and fight against the corruption and evil within their own circles. igiveup
