Fred,

I think you need to either clear your browser's "cache"; ask if you need destructions. Or, you could go to "My Home" and at the very bottom of the page there is a link that says, "My Cookies". Click that and follow the prompts.

And just we both know we are on the same page, , I took a screenshot of your Username and Avatar as it appears on the left of the message I am replying to.

I am not a computer geek, but at times I understand the cache gets stuck (for lack of a better term) and it just needs to be deleted and then reloaded, which is automatic when you come back to a page.

Thanks for the Info Pil,
I did what you stated, cleared my cookies, reset everything, and logged back in. I will see if it will work, meaning, if I will be able to see my avatar on my own computer when I view my posts. If not, I guess I will have to live with it and trust in faith that everyone else can see what I can't.

Fred

Fred,
Can you see it if you log out, the way a non-member would see it?

No, I can't. I may never get to the bottom of this mystery.

Fred,

Okay.... [Linked Image]

Can you splain this to me again... what EXACTLY is it you are not able to do, see, or whatever? I thought that the "Avatar" issue was resolved and that you could see your own Avatar displayed under your username? You can see everyone else's right?

I think I may have it figured out. I was tooling around my user page, and I think I clicked the proper buttons and all, and it seems to be working.
Please keep in mind, I am a theologian, and when it comes to computer stuff, even doing something as simple as fixing my personal homepage on a posting board, I am like superman in the presence of Kryptonite.

I have had to overcome the debilitating effects of Kryptonite!
