Seems to me we have had this thread before. My understanding is that the Holy Spirit was given to OT saints for a specific call by God on their life, e.g the Prophets, David, Solomon etc. It wasn't until Pentecost that The Holy Spirit was given by Jesus to indwell every believer.In Jn 16, Jesus promises the gift of the Holy Spirit to his disciples when he is no longer with them. Also Jn 14:16 seems to indicate that they did not as yet have the Holy Spirit.
Am I missing something?
