I think people are going to believe and support who they want regardless. Folks are typically ideological that way. We all have faith and belief in something. It’s hard to change the minds and hearts of people. America probably has more advantages in turning the tide of public opinion even outside the mainstream media. Trump is going to be either a boogeyman or a role model to Canada, but he’s neither. Don’t expect him to go out of his way to help forge a path out for Canada.
