The formula that Trump, the Art of the Deal (maker), is using and which is consistent with all other nations, is... Canada/they need the US far more than the US needs them. Thus, either Carney will play fair, according to Trump's rules which honestly are quite fair indeed; equity in trade, or Canada will suffer greatly financially. Trump did make clear that the US would NOT abandon its current protection of Canada from hostile nations. Thus, this is just 'business' and nothing 'personal'. Hopefully, for your sake, Carney will realize that working with fairness and equity in trade practices with the US will profit both parties. But hard-nose Socialistic tactics will result in much trouble and pain in Canada since your country is so dependent upon trade with the US. Of course, being a Socialist/Communist, Carney could choose to do trade with Communist China, Russia, North Korea or some other communist regime which will doubtless result in the end of your current freedoms such as they are. What God has in store for the future of Canada is known only to Him and be sure, that whatever it is, it shall be done and for good reason. We here, of course, hope and pray that things will improve in the very near future for you and your country no less than we do also for our undeserving country which has forsaken nearly any recognition of the one true God.

PS. As I mentioned before elsewhere, we Conservatives here in the US do NOT want any influx of typical Canadians to this country. They will bring nothing but their Socialism to the voting booth and thus bring leftist tragedy which is diametrically opposed to Constitutional freedom and liberty for all. We have enough of Leftist politics here already, thank you.
