I'm sorry, Anthony, but I don't see how you can say that the reprobate are not "real" men. Paul says, "He made from one [man] every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth" (Acts 17:26). They are fallen men, and God has chosen not to save them from their sins, but they are not "devils" (i.e., demons) which are spiritual beings, fallen angels. No, but they are human beings, made in the image & likeness of God, as God instructs Noah: "Whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood shall be shed, for in the image of God He made man" (Gen. 9:6). This does not apply only to the elect, does it? Indeed, it is precisely because of the federal headship of Adam over all mankind in his sin that the reprobate fall under the condemnation of God, for Adam sold himself & all of his progeny into the slavery of sin & the tyranny of Satan.

But for the elect a new federal head has been appointed, who is Christ Jesus, and He delivers the elect from bondage & captivity.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified.
