And the Constitution forbids the creation of a religion by the State. In this country, people are free to worship whatever religion they choose. And, likewise, the religions have no authority over the State. There is no Constitutional regulation of marriage in this country. There is a Supreme Court ruling, which is immoral to be sure, concerning marriage. But there is no law in this country that forbids an unbiblical divorce of the President to be. Instead of going on and on to show that James White's argument is totally irrelevant, I'll take the easy way out and simply state as I have several times in the past... Donald J. Trump is a pagan. Thus he is incontrovertibly a sinner through and through, as are all men by nature. He is weak on social issues. But he was and still is the best man for the office of President of the United States compared to those who were running against him. To me, his being elected shows a 'stay of execution' for the United States for its idolatry, blasphemy, immorality, hedonism, etc., etc. ad nauseam.

Remember well, that even the celebrated good kings in the Old Testament were guilty of immorality, e.g., David was an adulterer/murderer. Solomon, David's son, was even worse when it came to women. He had 700 wives and 300 concubines. Compared to Solomon regarding marital infidelity, and lust, Trump is a saint. In this country we elect someone who is most qualified to follow and enforce the laws enumerated in the Constitution of the United States. If they have a propensity to also follow the moral law of the Bible, that is most assuredly a plus. If James White decided that neither candidate was worthy of his vote, then so be it. The Constitution certainly allows that choice and even more so, the laws that govern elections allow someone to even write in a person who isn't even on the ballot. If every professed Christian followed James White's scruples then no conservative man of any stripe would ever be elected and the United States would dissolve overnight and become a totalitarian Communist state.

I voted for Trump, who I do not like as a man, because I believed and continue to believe he is what this country needs to stem the tide of its downward slide into Socialism. The Church has been and always will be persecuted by whatever political party gets into office any place in the world. The TRUE CHURCH is antithetical to the world and the world is antithetical to the TRUE CHURCH. The issue is for us here in America... who best respects the Constitution and its intent according to the founding fathers.

That's how I see it and I'm sticking with it. tongue

PS... what you think of Trump isn't important, Tom. You live in Canada which is ruled by Justin Trudeau who makes Trump look like a saint by comparison. [Linked Image]
