I have heard many times when studying the book of James or a talk on Martin Luther, that Luther believed that the book of James should not be included in the Bible. Recently, and I have forgotten where, I came across an article asserting that though Luther did made that claim, he shortly thereafter recanted it.

Does anyone know the true story, and if turns out to be an incomplete statement in that Luther actually recanted, then why are we still telling and being told about Luther's accusation.
