I don't see how you are warranted to jump from man (Heb adam, i.e., mankind) being made in the "image and likeness" of God to equating that as a synonym for "seed"? James seems to think that ALL men (mankind), even fallen men still bear the "likeness" (image) of God as he writes:

James 3:9 (ASV) "Therewith bless we the Lord and Father; and therewith curse we men, who are made after the likeness of God:"

James is referring back to man as in Gods original purpose, also man elect and non elect do have the same physical image, i affirmed that already if you reread my OP.

But physical image of God, is important, but perhaps the least important, especially when the highlight of being a man is the capacity to have fellowship with God, and being in a covenantal relationship with God..The elect by virtue of thei election and union with christ, have that image preserved and enjoy it again at new birth..
