I agree with those who thinks that Christians who give is doing it for the wrong reasons is wrong. Even Christians giving for the right reasons should not be upset if the government takes that away. However, I hear that some want to tax churches on their offerings (income) and church buildings. It that is done, then churches will be hurt greatly in what they provide for their congregations. There will have to be large cuts to their budgets. Now, that in itself should not interfere with the church mission in being the church of Christ.
