Steve

You might not have intentionally done so, but based on what you wrote I don't know how Joe or I could have concluded otherwise.
The only thing I really don't understand about Joe is why he continues use McMahon. There are a lot other people that support his position than McMahon.
The section that Joe quoted on McMahon however does not support 'Presumptive Regeneration'.

By now you should know that Joe does not support McMahon's 'Presumptive Regeneration'. He has stated that many times, so why bring it up?

I agree that Joe is old enough to defend himself, but my post was based on something I learned from James White.
James White was in Salt Lake City, witnessing to Mormons, when he noticed a lot of supposed Christians with signs with untruth and half truths about Mormons. He approached these sign carriers and told them they were misrepresenting Mormons and told them how they were doing so.
They basically called him a Mormon sympathizer and wrote him off.
Several Mormons had watched this exchange and came over to thank him for sticking up for them. James told them that he was a Christian and didn't agree with Mormons on their theology, but he didn't believe people should be misrepresented. As a result he gained the respect of those Mormon people.
